Editorial Policy

Who writes this site

Ume Musubi is run by Plummy. Articles are published by our editors.

How we use AI

We use AI to help summarise and translate news and research about ume, and to create illustration images. AI-written summaries are reviewed by an editor before publication and are labelled on the article page. AI-generated images are illustrations, not photos of real places or products.

Sources

Articles based on news, papers or public data list their sources at the end. Health information is not stated as certain; findings still under research are described as such. This site does not provide medical advice.

Advertising

We introduce products through affiliate programmes and earn a commission when you buy through our links. Advertising is labelled “PR”. Commissions do not change how we describe products.
