Spanning 5.3 hectares, this is the largest ume (Japanese plum) park in Akita Prefecture, featuring approximately 2,000 trees of five varieties: Fujigoro, Koshi no Ume, Shirokaga, Bungo, and Nanko Ume. In spring, the park hosts an ume viewing festival, and in summer, it offers fresh ume picking and sales.
According to the Sanshuku-machi Tourism Association, the 2026 Ume Viewing Festival will be held from April 4 to April 12.
