A plum grove on the slopes of Mt. Tsukuba with about 1,000 trees and views over the Kanto Plain.

The Mt. Tsukuba Plum Festival is held every February–March (Feb 7 – Mar 15 in 2026).

Getting there: Tsukuba Express to Tsukuba Station, then the Mt. Tsukuba shuttle bus (about 36 min) to "Tsukubasan-jinja Iriguchi"
Parking: City car parks 1–4 (no reservations); public transport is recommended
