The plum garden of Kagawa Prefectural Horticultural Center (Sanuki Flower Garden), with 130 trees of about 100 varieties (as of February 2026).
The trees are trained bonsai-style with branches spread sideways, so the flowers bloom at eye level. The prefecture publishes a full variety list, a planting map and notes on each variety, making it a good place to compare varieties.
