A plum festival in Sugita, Isogo Ward, Yokohama, held by the local "Ume no Machi Sugita" committee to bring back the bustle of the former "Sugita Plum Grove". In 2026 it took place on Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15 at Gozusan Myohoji Temple, where the history of the Sugita plum grove lives on.
In 2026 there was an opening ribbon-cutting, stage performances such as taiko drumming by local children and artists, kamishibai picture-story shows, an exhibition on the history of the Sugita plum grove, a quiz rally for children and food trucks, and the ukiyo-e viewpoint at the hilltop was specially opened.
