A plum festival held in the late spring of snow country at Bairin Park (next to Tagami Junior High School) in Tagami Town, Niigata Prefecture. The 27th edition ran from Sunday, March 15 to Sunday, April 5, 2026. White, red and weeping plums bloom, including the local brand plum "Koshi no Ume".
On the first day, March 15, an opening ceremony was held at Michi-no-Eki Tagami roadside station, which also held "Tagami Ume Hyakka", a fair of umeshu, umeboshi and more. There is no dedicated car park near Bairin Park. By car it is about 30 minutes from Tsubame-Sanjo Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen.
