The plum festival at Inabe Agricultural Park, one of the largest plum parks in the Tokai region. In 2026 it was planned from February 21 to March 20 (a national holiday). More than 4,000 ume trees of about 100 varieties bloom, and the highlight is the view from the lookout over flowers covering the whole slope. There are also food and souvenir corners.
Admission is 500 yen for adults (free for elementary school children and younger; 400 yen for groups of 20 or more adults). It is about 20 minutes by taxi from Kintetsu Kuwana Station, or from Nishi-Kuwana or Ageki Station on the Sangi Railway Hokusei Line. There is parking, but in 2026 construction greatly reduced the number of spaces and traffic jams were expected.
Dates are based on the organizers' announcements and may change with the weather or the bloom. Please check the official information before you go.
